RUNNING BACKS

James Starks, GB

Eddie Lacy is playing poorly right now and James Starks is excelling. Lacy is a bit banged up and it will be interesting to see how the carries are split after the week seven bye week for the Packers. The coaches are rewarding Starks with increased playing time. He’s worth a look for Lacy owners or if you want to stash him on your bench and see what happens. (about 20% owned)

Christine Michael, DAL

Michael is very athletic and was unable to show this in Seattle because Rawls and Lynch took the spotlight. With Joseph Randle playing mediocre, Dallas is willing to give the 24-year-old a look. He’s worth a look for Randle owners and for stashing on your bench. (about 40% owned)

* Sorry for no plug and play running backs this week, there was just no one to mention other than Charcandrick West. He didn’t play well enough to be mentioned.*

WIDE RECEIVERS

Rishard Matthews, MIA

Jarvis Landry is obviously the number one guy in Miami. However, Matthews has been seeing about 6 targets per game on average over DaVante Parker. Clearly, Matthews is the number two guy in Miami and in a potent offense with a new coaching staff, he should excel as he will be free from the number one defensive back on opposing defenses who will hold down Landry. A solid pick for owners looking for a WR. (about 50% owned)

Marvin Jones, CIN

The Bengals offense has been proved legitimate thus far in the season. Despite having a few rough games, Jones has played well and is proving to be a big part of their offense in Cincinnati. He should be added for owners in need of a WR. (about 40% owned)

QUARTERBACKS

Blake Bortles, JAC

Bortles put up solid number in week 6. The Jags offense has weapons and since their defense isn’t great, Bortles will be asked to win the game with his arm a lot. Therefore, Bortles is a great plug and play or even a solid choice for a QB swap if yours is underperforming. (about 45% owned)

TIGHT ENDS

Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TB

Coming off an injury and expected to return week seven, Jenkins played well before week two and should definitely be thrown in the TE1 conversation this week. If your TE is on a bye, definitely snatch Jenkins up if you can. (about 30% owned)

DEFENSE

Kansas City Chiefs

Pittsburgh is not the same powerhouse of an offense without Big Ben (Ben Roethlisberger) and that’s clear. So if he doesn’t play, KC should be a solid 8-10 point play in standard leagues.
