Westford Academy varsity cheer competed at states this weekend November 23rd, 2014. They won second place at Lowell High School and plan on moving on to nationals. All photos were taken by Ciara Barstow.
An award winning show, the plot that takes place in Washington Heights, New York City is coming to WA. In mid November, Westford Academy Theatre Arts will be showing In the Heights, directed by Larry Sousa. The show is based off the novel by Quiara Alegría Hudes, and with Lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
This year's fall fashion is recycling some of last year's sport-themed attire with varsity jackets and 90s grunge with edgy pieces like leather pants and motorcycle jackets. Designers are also taking inspiration from the 1960s "mod" look with bold prints, bright colors, and pastels.

As another school year starts, so does another season for Westford Academy's football team. As their first game was away at Lowell tonight, Coach Adam Gagne and his players plan to tackle the season with a preparedness they have been developing since last season came to a close.
After four years of dedication to her academics, Westford Academy senior Sally Lee has achieved the honor of becoming Salutatorian for this year’s graduating class.
