Photos: WA Girls’ Basketball narrowly loses to Wayland 49-41

The Girls’ Varsity Basketball team suffered a narrow defeat 49-41 against Wayland High School at a home game on Friday, Jan. 5, bringing their team record 1-7. Although the teams traded baskets throughout all four quarters, Wayland managed to secure a victory by a slim margin, outscoring WA by a few points, and eventually winning the game. The team’s next game will be on Friday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. against Acton-Boxborough Regional High School.
