Senior Jason Welch, hit a three pointer at the buzzer, with his team down by two, moving his team past the Grizzlies on Sunday. Welch’s team is now one of two 4-0 teams in the league who sit at the top.
Senior Andrew Robinson, a teammate of Welch, said “It’s the best game I have ever been a part of.” At the half, they were down by 13 points and managed to comeback by hitting many three pointers. Then with a few seconds left, when they were down by two, they inbounded the ball to Welch, who shot the ball from half court and celebrated with his team over the shot and the victory.
The Grizzlies are joined by the Chris Mariano and Peter Russo’s team, the Magic, at the top of the leaderboard. The Magic are also 4-0.
A short handed Knicks team lost to the Pistons after they gave up a halftime lead. This was their second game in a row where they went into half leading and lost the game, and they now sit at 0-4.
The Wizards scored a season high 80 points in their win, an impressive figure.
The Pacers, who have been a very good team, lost a close one to the Thunder, who showcase the Barisano brothers.
The rest of the schedule came out early this week which showcases the better games at the more popular game times. The night games will focus on games with teams of better records, whereas the Sunday morning schedule will feature less popular games with teams with worse records facing off.
Teams will look forward to the rest of the season hoping to either stay undefeated, stay in the hunt, or avoid a dreaded win-less season. Also players will be looking to show off their skills for the rest of the year in hopes to make their respective All Star teams for the Night of Roundball at WA later in the year.

This is unacceptable. The Wizards scored 80 points, not the cavs, please fix this.
