On May 31, 2019 Thomas Rhett released his new album Center Point Road. This is Rhett’s sixth album he has released since his debut self-titled album in 2012. Thomas Rhett is popular among many teens and adults and has been since the start of his career.

“Center Point Road’s” cover

Some of the stronger tracks on the album are “Look What God Gave Her”, “Beer Can’t Fix”, and “Blessed”.  “Look What God Gave Her” was released prior to the album. What makes “Look What God Gave Her” stand out is the catchy background music and cute lyrics. “Beer Can’t Fix” is one of the better tracks because it is an upbeat song that just makes you love country music. It’s great for singing at a party or even just relaxing. “Blessed” is a love ballad that Rhett wrote for his wife, Lauren Akins. The lyrics of “Notice” are really sweet and make you want to fall in love.

Some of the weaker tracks on the album were “VHS” and “Don’t Threaten Me with a Good Time”. “VHS” is not very good because of the awkwardly pop sounding beat behind a country voice. “Don’t Threaten Me with a Good Time” is the same type of issue, the voice and music in the back don’t exactly go well together. The feature from Little Big Town is also a little too much; it doesn’t quite fit.

All in all, Center Point Road is a really well done album that will be blasted all summer long. It is one of Rhett’s best albums so far. Rhett will be going on tour for this album during the summertime.
