A medium cheese pizza

Ben Walker, Managing Editor

Recently, the Ghostwriter had the chance to eat at Pizzeria Presti, another pizzeria on 2 East Prescott Street in Westward. This hadn’t been my favorite pizza place in Westford in the past, but after a recent experience at Presti, it has renewed itself.

When we first entered the pizzeria, we noticed there were TVs to project the menu, but they weren’t turned on. Instead, we asked for a hard copy menu that was still full of a variety of different options.

Presti isn’t a large pizzeria; it only has a handful of tables with a TV in the corner for customers to watch. Although it is a small place, the menu has all one could ask for in a local pizza joint.

We decided to order a medium cheese pizza, a large order of chicken tenders, a large order of fries and two refrigerated drinks. Our total came out be about $26.00. This was about what we expected, as a medium pizza was the smallest size we could order. However, Presti does serve individual slices earlier in the day.

After about ten to fifteen minutes, we were served our food. The chicken and fries came out at once and the pizza came out almost immediately after.

We first tried the cheese pizza, which came with 8 slices, enough to be shared between two people. It came out really hot, so unfortunately we had to wait a few minutes before we actually tried it. However, once it cooled down it was very tasty. It had a unique flavor and a delectable crust. Although it wasn’t the best pizza we’ve ever had, it is certainly a good alternative for those looking for a new pizza place.

Next, we sampled the chicken tenders. It came with enough tenders to split between two people, it would probably be too much for just one person to eat alone. They had a different taste than your average pizza joint tenders, as they almost tasted more real than most. These were very tasty, and are definitely a good option at Presti.

Finally, we tried out the large order of french fries. These were definitely big enough to split between two people. They tasted pretty average, nothing to write home about. However, they were definitely a good side order to the chicken and pizza.

Overall we enjoyed our experience at Pizzeria Presti. If you’re looking for an alternative pizzeria in Westford, Presti is certainly a good option. We would give it an 8/10.

Pizzeria Presti is open from 11am to 9pm every day, except from Fridays when they are open from 11am-10pm. They can be reached at 978-692-4543.
