Q: How do you like Westford Academy?
A: So far so good. It’s a great place to work. I went to school here also.
Q:Why did you want to come to Westford Academy?
A: This is a fabulous library, and they do a fabulous job preparing students for college. They also successfully integrate technology into your classes, which is great. I really enjoy working on projects with students.
Q: What inspired/made you want to become a librarian?
A: It’s my second career. I used to be a Purchasing Agent, so I did a lot of research. In addition, I spent a lot of time in the library with my kids and found it to be a very pleasant place to be.
Q: How long have you been doing this job?
A: Two whole years. One in Methuen and this is my first year here.
Q: Do you live in Westford?
A: No. I grew up in Westford, but I don’t live here anymore. I currently reside in West Newbury, MA.
Q: Where did you go to college?
A: Undergraduate at UMass Amherst. And graduate school was at Simmons College.
Q: What did you go to college for?
A: Library Science.
Q: Do you have a family?
A: Yes. I have a wonderful husband, two children, a boy and a girl, and two giant dogs.
