Girls’ Varsity Lacrosse lost their first game of the season 14-6 to Reading Memorial High School at Trustees Field on Friday, March 27. Reading’s offense began the game with aggressive plays, dominating the field and gaining an early lead on the Ghosts. However, in the final quarter, the Ghosts’ offense upped their game, shutting down their goal and going on a scoring spree. The final push fell short of the necessary score needed to take the win for Westford Academy, leaving the girls’ season record 0-1.
The Ghosts line up before the game begins.
