While some seniors plan to pursue opportunities other than higher education, many are preparing to take their next steps toward college. Many colleges allow students to apply in the fall through early action and early decision and these applications are due starting October 15. This can make fall a busy time for seniors, especially while trying to balance extracurriculars, and schoolwork. The Ghostwriter asked current seniors at Westford Academy how the college application process has been going for them.
"It's been a roller coaster. I would say definitely start during the summer. I made that mistake of not taking it too seriously over the summer, because once you start your school year, it's so much on you. And those who did their college essays over the summer, [are] very smart," senior Venisha Jhanjee said.
