With the 2024 election looming closer than ever, America is almost evenly split between the two popular candidates, Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald J. Trump. Both of these candidates have varying backgrounds, with Trump serving as the 45th president of the United States, beating Democrat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, and Harris serving as vice president under the Biden administration. The Ghostwriter asked students what their thoughts were on the two candidates.
"I would probably vote for Kamala Harris. Trump has said a lot of bad things [...]. He's not going to do anything about climate change. He just doesn't seem like a good person in general to lead the country, [although] Kamala isn't much better but you kind of have to choose," freshman Jayden Brache said.
