For the sixth time in seven years, Westford Academy Theater Arts has won the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild Festival. This past weekend, WATA placed at the festival for the fifth year in a row with the production of My Name is Asher Lev.
On Thursday, January 30th, WATA opened its second main stage show of the year, Our Town. The show, directed by Dennis Canty and featuring 19 student actors, drew a great reaction, causing audience members to both laugh and cry in the course of two hours.
