WA Compliments, a social media account that anonymously spreads compliments from an anonymous source to the receiver, has made a comeback on Twitter after the Facebook version of the account from a couple years ago died down.
The National Honors Society is switching gears for the upcoming school year, with previous advisers Amanda Everett and Heather Tedesco stepping down. The void will be filled by media specialist Stephanie Gosselin and math teacher Lori Ditto.
This summer, a new social media app took WA student's smartphones by storm: Yik Yak. For those who are unaware, Yik Yak is best described as an anonymous, location based "twitter". Students within a certain radius of each other can "yak" something (create a post on the app) and it will be placed on a feed that is viewed in a style similar to Twitter.
