I was on my way home from my first ever rally protesting anti-Asian hate crimes in the US after six people of Asian descent were shot and killed in the Atlanta spa shooting in March. On Saturday, October 29th, Westford residents gathered at the town common to peacefully protest the building of the asphalt plant. The protestors marched from the town common down to the Abbot school, flashing their signs to passing cars.
