Soundbytes: Freshman opinions on missing their 8th-grade year

Freshman year can be nerve-wracking for a lot of students, especially in a new school. The first few months of freshman year can be tricky, navigating through the hallways, finding classes, or even understanding the schedule. But for the Class of 2025, they have it a little bit worse, since they did not have a full experience of their 8th-grade year, and missed out on their overnight D.C. trip. The Ghostwriter asked freshmen about going into their freshman year more inexperienced than other classes.
Juliette Travassos: "It really sucked. I feel like there were a lot of highlights that came out of being in a smaller group [and touring D.C.], but it would have been a lot nicer to go to D.C., which is something we have been looking forward to for years."
