At the Monday Night School Committee meeting on December 7, members voted 4-3 to pass the superintendent’s recommendations to change how winter sports are run this year due to COVID – 19. These recommendations entailed that nordic and alpine ski would continue as planned, swim and dive would continue virtually, and hockey and basketball would be canceled this year. This decision resulted in a multitude of reactions from students and student-athletes. The Ghostwriter asked students the question: “How do you feel about the recently decided cancellations and regulations on winter sports and was this a fair decision?” to better display the reactions to this decision.
