On Monday, December 16, 2019, Mr. Mac’s in Westford opened their doors for the first time. Since I’ve been to the Tyngsboro location, I had very high hopes for this new dining spot in town. Thankfully, my expectations were exceeded.

When I arrived at Mr. Mac’s, I was greeted with a friendly welcome from the employees. Not only were the employees kind and helpful, but the place itself was also spotless and well-organized. I ordered the “Mozzarella Stick Mac” and my friend ordered the “Classic All-American Mac.”

The menu had a variety of many different types of mac cheese. One that stuck out the most to me was the “Deluxe Cheeseburger”. Other interesting items on the menu were the “Taco Mac”, “Blazin Buffalo Chicken Mac”, and the “Philly Cheese Steak Mac”.

Within 15 minutes, our food was brought to our table and we tore into our meals. The mac and cheese dishes were phenomenal and our skillets were emptied very quickly.

After eating, we informed the staff that we were there to write a review for the Ghostwriter, The faculty was very happy to have some publicity on the restaurant so my friend and I were given two complimentary brownies to enjoy after our meal.

We even got to speak to the District Manager, Don Johnson. He told us a little more about Mr.Mac’s and he was very friendly to talk to. After speaking with him he gave us a tour of the kitchen. Behind the register was a clean, organized kitchen. Mr. Johnson showed us where they prepare their gluten-free meals and showed us where they make the mac and cheese dishes.

Overall I enjoyed Mr.Mac’s very much. The food was delicious and tasted fresh and I’ll definitely be going back. However, my favorite thing about Mr.Mac’s is the staff. The staff there are very friendly and approachable. It was a very comfortable environment to enjoy a lovely meal. If I had to rate my dining experience here, it would definitely be a 10/10.
