The Super Bowl 50 isn’t all about the football. Its also about the amazing food that can be served. With these simple and delicious foods, the Super Bowl will be a blast.
Here are some food ideas for Super Bowl 50!
Football Strawberries
Ingredients/ Materials:
- Strawberries (as many as you want)
- Chocolate
- Frosting
- Decorating tools
Recipe:
- Get all of your ingredients and materials together
- Melt the chocolate
- Dip the strawberry into the chocolate
- Put into the your fridge and wait 5- 10 minutes
- Take your frosting and put it into a decorating bag with a small tip
- Draw four lines on the strawberry, in the pattern shown below to represent a football.
This healthy treat will definitely make your Super Bowl viewing more fun. The twist on the classic chocolate dipped strawberry, gets you into the football spirit. It is a treat that the whole family will love.
Cookie dough footballs
Ingredients/ Materials:
- Cookie dough
- Chocolate
- Frosting
- Decorating tools
Recipe:
- Make or buy cookie dough
- Melt the chocolate
- Dip the cookie dough into the melted chocolate
- Freeze the cookie dough/ chocolate
- Take your frosting and draw three lines on the strawberry to make it look like a football
If you want the cookie dough without eggs ingredients:
- ½ cup of butter (softened)
- ½ cup of packed ground sugar
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 can (14 oz.) of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- ½ cup of mini semi sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup of walnuts (optional)
- 1½ Baker’s dipping chocolate

Ingredients/ Materials:
- ¾ cup very warm water
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- All other ingredients come in the purchased pretzel mix
Recipe:
Stir:
- Stir together pretzel mix and yeast packet into a large mixing bowl
- Measure warm water (yeast is better in warm water) and add the water and oil into the pretzel mix/ yeast and stir until thoroughly combined
Rise and Shape:
- Cover dough and let rise for 25 minutes in warm draft free place (Dough will not double in size)
- Place dough on a clean, dry surface and divide into 9 equal pieces. Cover with towel to prevent dough from drying. Roll each piece into 18-in rope. Make a U shape with the dough; cross left over right end; repeat and bring ends to bottom
- Cover formed pretzel with towel
Boil and Bake:
- Preheat oven to 400℉ spray large baking sheet with cooking spray
- Combine 6 cups of water with baking soda in a large deep saucepan until water bills (mixture will be foamy) NOTE: Baking soda can be corrosive to certain materials. It is recommended that you do not use saucepans that have hard anodized finishes.
- Using slotted spoon or spatula, dip one pretzel at a rime into the booing water. Allow pretzel to slide off spoon into water for 10-15 seconds, then remove the pretzel and place on baking sheet. Continue with remaining pretzels.
- Sprinkle each pretzel with pretzel salt. bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool on wire rack. Enjoy!

Mexican dips:
Ingredients/ Materials:
- 1 block of cream cheese
- ½ of a package of shredded cheddar
- ½ of a package of monterey jack cheese
- Jalapeno peppers (optional)
- Salsa (of your choice)
Recipe:
- Layer in a casserole dish

-Salsa
-Jalapeno peppers (optional)
-Cheese
2. Bake at 350℉° for about 15 minutes
This cheese filled treat is sure to be a great way to start the game off. With your selection of chip, this mexican dip has cheese, salsa, meat (be specific) and all make the dip so tasty.
Chinese Chicken wings:
Ingredients/ Materials:
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of soy sauce
- Garlic powder
- Seasame seeds
Recipe:
Pour mixture of sugar and soy sauce, into cut chicken wings. Sprinkle garlic powder and sesame seeds. Stir and marinate then leave out overnight/ all day. Place on cookie sheet with heavy duty aluminum foil. Bake at 350 ℉ until gooey.
They are a delicious appetizer that everyone will enjoy.
