Junior year is known for the intense pressure it puts on students with more challenging classes and daunting decisions regarding life after high school. Additionally, with Advanced Placement (AP) tests, the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), American College Testing (ACT), and college tours, it can be stressful finding the time to manage it all. Not only do students have to manage their school work load, but many students also have extracurricular commitments including working, club activities, volunteering, and taking care of family. The Ghostwriter asked current juniors how the stress of this year has been affecting them.

"I think, that in comparison to my previous years, the stress of this year has been a bit elevated for me. Personally, I've been getting eight hours [of sleep] everyday so it hasn't really been affecting me, but I know people who have been getting less sleep and have been stressed," junior Kojo AsieduOtibu said.

Ellie Lawrance, Staff Writer
Hi, I’m Ellie Lawrance and I’m a sophomore staff writer for the WA Ghostwriter. This is my first year of working on the Ghostwriter and I’m so excited to start. I’ve always enjoyed reading and writing which is part of what inspired me to join. I have a dog named Guvnor, and my favorite place is my cape house in North Truro where I visit with my friends. Some of my hobbies include playing volleyball, hanging out with my friends, reading, and listening to music. I have always enjoyed school and working with others, so I am so happy to be able to be a part of this team. I can’t wait to get started!
