In a meeting of the Graduation Requirements Committee on Dec. 16 2024, principal Dan Twomey presented possible changes to the graduation requirements for high school students which would take effect in 2026-27 school year with the class of 2030, who are currently seventh graders. The primary changes would include the following:
- Restructuring freshman health and gym into a singular physical education class to free up a 2.5 credit elective opportunity
- Reducing graduation credits to make study halls (DLTs) more accessible for seniors
