Mission Statement

The Westford Academy Ghostwriter is dedicated to delivering relevant and accurate news to the Westford community. We aim to uphold the highest standards of journalistic integrity in all of our coverage, while also emphasizing the cultural diversity and different backgrounds of our student body. We hope to act as a forum for allowing productive debate and devote ourselves to the representation of underrepresented voices. As an award winning publication, we strive to foster the creativity of our staff, respect the varying ideas and perspectives of others, and make a commitment to grow as journalists and as people.

The Ghostwriter, as a student newspaper, keeps in mind these goals:

• To increasingly utilize aspects of multimedia in stride with current trends in professional media and journalism
