WA Boys’ Ice Hockey was eliminated from the state playoffs in a game against Braintree, losing 3-2 in double overtime on Thursday, Feb. 29th. Braintree initially had a two-goal lead going into the second period, although WA came back with back-to-back goals in the second and third period. But even after a hard fought comeback from WA to force double overtime, Braintree scored after a breakaway onto WA’s side of the rink to win the game.
