WA Baseball defeats Lincoln-Sudbury, moves to Round of 8

The Boy’s Varsity Baseball team won 4-3 over Lincoln-Sudbury on June 10, keeping their undefeated record of 20-0 alive. Although WA made it to the Round of 8, their game against Saint John’s Shrewsbury ended their undefeated season with a loss 3-10 on June 11.
WA started off the game weak but senior Matt Morash’s impressive pitching and WA’s consistent offense led them to the victory. Although Lincoln-Sudbury was initially up 3-0, junior Nic Bonica, senior Ben Mulgrew, and senior Kush Gami led to a tie in the top of the seventh. The game was then closed with an extraordinary hit by junior Justin Davigi in the eighth that led to a walk-off win.
