Olivia Caron Staff Writer Westford Academy Varsity Volleyball took a loss this Friday against Lincoln-Sudbury. The final score was 3-1. In WA’s crowd, the parents, siblings, and even some grandparents came to cheer on the team. By the end of the game, our stands were full of people supporting the team. WA did their best to win the first match, and the score stayed close until LS took over and scored the final points. During set one, Westford lost 25-15. WA was ahead in the second set, and the score stayed relatively even until WA became determined to win the set. LS lost in this set with a score of 25-22. After their hard earned win, WA wasn’t able to keep it up in the third set. WA and LS stayed tied most of the set until LS was able to get the winning points. WA lost 25-21. WA seemed to lose their motivation in the fourth set, and they lost to LS with a score of 25-19. WA lost the match against LS with a final score of 3-1.
