In the evening of Monday, Dec. 23, WA Varsity Basketball hosted a double header against Shrewsbury in the main gym, with the girls’ team playing first followed by the boys’ team. WA Girls’ Basketball came away with a strong 41-31 victory, while WA Boys’ Basketball was outmatched and lost 66-43. The girls will play next in the Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic tournament on Dec. 27, while the boys will play a home game on the same day at 7:15 p.m. in the Greater Lowell Holiday Tournament.
