Last school year Westford faced an 6-8 million dollar budget deficit. With this came many changes that the WA community has since had to adapt to. One obstacle that stuck out among others was the widespread layoff of teachers. This included many disadvantages such as making it harder for some students to get into their preferred classes and losing valued members of the staff. However, another aspect of this was the dramatic increase in class sizes. This led to struggles for both students and the staff and a large adjustment that is still ongoing. The Ghostwriter asked students and teachers how they felt about the sudden increase in class sizes and the ways they are managing the changes.
