In the season opener, WA Girls’ Varsity Field Hockey beat the Weston Wildcats 2-1 today, starting the season off on a bright note for the Grey Ghosts.
Although tied for the first half of the game, WA played aggressively throughout the second half, refusing to surrender possession to any opponent, and focused heavily upon scoring. They were one point ahead by the time the final buzzer rang out through the football field.
