A couple slices of bacon pizza

Andrew Friel and Ben Walker

The Ghostwriter has reviewed many pizza shops in the last couple years, sampling as much pizza, chicken, and other fried items as one person can consume. The majority of the locations do not blow us out of the water, but Littleton Pizza shop has to be in the top three of these reviews we have done as it pertains to food quality.

Littleton Pizza Shop is located at 486 King Street in Littleton, MA. They serve a variety of typical pizza shop items and subs in a casual setting. Adults can enjoy the pub connected to the sub shop and owned by the same owners.

Our group of four found this location pretty easily, as it is located in the center of Littleton. As we walked in, we noticed that the cashier didn’t seem all that happy to see a decently large group entering the establishment. He was kind of grumpy and we all decided that we felt like we were annoying him by being there. However, the visit only went up from here.

We ordered a bacon pizza, a large order of fries and chicken fingers, an order of chicken wings, a bacon cheeseburger, and a few drinks from the cooler.

The pizza was first on the list, and while we found it rather greasy and the bacon was not chopped up enough, the pizza itself was tasty and smelled great as well. The intoxicating aroma translated to taste as well.

The fries were also outstanding, with the satisfying crunch and heat, you couldn’t ask for a better fry. The large order was perfect to share among four teenage boys, and it should work perfectly fine for your group as well.

This was the same for the chicken fingers, which were also very crunchy and had a great player that had no need to be adulterated with sauces, but would still taste anyhow. The wings were just as good, but did not appear as appetizing to our group initially, but like they say, don’t judge a book by its cover.

The bacon cheeseburger contained great meat considering we were in a hole in the wall joint, and while we were nervous about the slight risk we were taking with this burger, we were proven wrong. It can be happily reported that no one became sick, and in fact that great meat paired with the succulent bacon made for an amazing combonation.

Overall, this sub shop surprised us with its high quality food, but could use some better cashiers to avoid a bad first impression that we got upon entering the restaurant.
