On Wednesday, September 30th, WA  Girls’ Volleyball was defeated by Lincoln Sudbury 3-0. The team struggled throughout most of the game, but there were a few good points.

During the first set, the Ghosts started off strong, but LS was able to catch up. In the middle of the set the girls were down 9-14 with an end score of 19-24.

The girls had a rough start at the beginning of the second set with a score of 2-6. Eventually, it went up to 5-8 and ended with 19-24.

LS consecutively scored the first 9 points of the third set. The WA team was able to keep the score close, but the final set ended with a score of 18-25.

“I think our offense was good, but our defense was not great. I believe we are a good team but can’t play  so well with fear of the opposing team,” says Coach Brandon Eang.

The team’s next volleyball game is on Friday, October 2nd against Boston Latin at WA.
